The United States Attorney's office for the Southern District of New York has reported executing an agreement with both PokerStars and FullTilt.
The agreement will reportedly allow them to return at least some funds owing to players via the .com platform.
A further condition of the agreement is that neither company will continue to accept players resident in the USA. PokerStars had already made the announcement that they would leave the US market, as reported here previously. FullTilt, by their acceptance of the agreement, has now indicated that they will be leaving the US market as well.
A similar offer has been made to UB and Absolute Poker, but they have not yet indicated their agreement.
