New York Giants @ Chicago Bears
This is a game the Chicago Bears have to tuck away. The Bears have lost each of their past two games and have been physically dominated by the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints. Chicago’s offensive line is getting pushed around, so the main task for the Bears is to get good protection for quarterback Jay Cutler. The Giants’ defense has been hit hard by injuries, so Chicago might be in a very good position to exploit New York’s weak defense throughout this game. The Bears are a nine-point favorite on the NFL odds.
Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers
This is a weird game in that the Cardinals and the 49ers are both 3-2. Arizona hasn’t looked like a 3-2 team through five weeks, but that’s where the Cardinals are. Many experts would say that Arizona is 3-2 because it has played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Carolina Panthers. Now, Arizona faces a much tougher challenge. The Cardinals’ offensive line has to withstand the pressure posed by San Francisco’s defensive front seven. If Arizona doesn’t win that matchup, it can’t win this game. San Francisco is an 11-point favorite in the sportsbook.
Washington Redskins @ Dallas Cowboys
This is a game which promises to have a lot of offense. Dallas quarterback Tony Romo threw for over 500 yards last week in a painful 51-48 loss to the Denver Broncos. Romo, playing at home for the second straight week, should be able to throw the ball at will against a very suspect Washington defense. Yet, the story will be if Robert Griffin III can play through pain and make Dallas’ defense look bad once again.
